Jasmine
Jasmine loves to read, write, and enjoy nature. She works as an administrator at an insurance company and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in public administration. She has one daughter who is also working and attending college.
In 2025, Jasmine felt a lump in her left breast. She was diagnosed with stage 1 invasive lobular carcinoma, which had spread to a lymph node. Dr. Lewis Diulus performed a partial mastectomy with reconstruction.
At the time of her surgery, she was worried about removing the cancer and didn’t think much about what she would look like after the reconstruction. Now she has a different outlook. She appreciates her breasts because she almost lost them forever, and she still feels like a lady.
She tells other women that if the choice is between you or your boobies, let them go because we need you more! Also, getting to know the new you after reconstruction is empowering. You will always be resilient—a survivor.
Jasmine walks the Pink Runway because cancer took things away from her and she stayed hidden. “I am ready to come back outside,” she says.
She had the best experience with Dr. Diulus and Crystal Clinic Plastic Surgeons and says: “Every appointment felt like I was visiting family. People who genuinely cared about me and my well-being. I am forever grateful.”
