The Blue Peel is a light chemical peel that helps correct fine wrinkles, skin laxity, acne scarring, sun damage, pigmentation problems and large pores. The Procedure
Obagi Blue Peel is performed in the physician’s office. It is a quick, relatively simple and highly tolerable procedure that in most cases, does not require sedation. Application of the Blue Peel takes about 20 minutes, depending on the number of coats your skin care specialist has determined are necessary to achieve your goals. You will experience a mild burning sensation that lasts two to three minutes.

Blue For a Day
Immediately after the procedure a bluish tint remains on your skin, which usually washes off within 24 hours. After the procedure, you will experience light swelling and your skin will peel within 2 to 3 days and will continue to peel for a few days. You should be healed in an average of 7 to 10 days. This peeling should not disrupt your regular lifestyle for long, although you may want to limit your normal activity.

How Much Does a Blue Peel Cost?
Patients pay approximately $300–$1000 per Blue Peel depending on the number of coats applied and the part of the body being peeled.

When Will I Begin To See Results?
When your skin is finished peeling, you will immediately see improvement. The appearance of your skin will continue to improve for the next 4 to 6 weeks becoming firmer, clearer, smoother, healthier and more youthful looking.
